紧拓扑半群上概率测度卷积序列的极限性质

本文讨论紧拓扑半群上概率测度卷积序列的若干重要极限性质．在第１节中，我们讨论测度集的代数结构与其支撑集代数结构的关系．第２节的定理１，通过支撑集的代数结构给出组合收敛测度序列的一个极限定理．在定理２中我们讨论独立同分布时的情形，建立了一类紧半群上的Ｋａｗａｄａ－Ｉｔ型结果．这些定理推广了紧群、紧交换半群、紧Ｌ－Ｘ半群上一些相应的结论．     

一类Schrodinger方程的周期解和谱方法

本文利用半群理论讨论了一类非线性非自共轭Ｓｃｈｒｏｄｉｎｇｅｒ方程周期初边值解的存在唯一性，以及它的Ｆｏｕｒｉｅｒ谱方法的可解性，稳定性和收敛性     

P－正则半群的双序集

本文刻划了双序集Ｅ为某Ｐ－正则半群的幂等元双序集的充要条件．所得定理不仅推广了Ｄ．Ｅａｓｄｏｗｎ关于带的双序集的结论，而且导出了正则＊－半群的幂等元双序集的一个刻划．进而还对Ｐ－正则半群的若干特殊情形及向非正则半群的推广进行了讨论．     

Global solutions of the Boltzmann equation on a lattice

The nonlinear Boltzmann equation with a discretized spatial variable is studied in a Banach space of absolutely integrable functions of the velocity variables. Conservation laws and positivity are utilized to extend weak local solutions to a global solution. This is shown to be a strong solution by analytic semigroup techniques.Supported by National Science Foundation Grant ENG-7515882.     

Almost automorphic solutions of evolution equations

This paper is concerned with the existence of almost automorphic mild solutions to equations of the form

where generates a holomorphic semigroup and is an almost automorphic function. Since almost automorphic functions may not be uniformly continuous, we introduce the notion of the uniform spectrum of a function. By modifying the method of sums of commuting operators used in previous works for the case of bounded uniformly continuous solutions, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of almost automorphic mild solutions to in terms of the imaginary spectrum of and the uniform spectrum of .

     

Non-linear Semigroup of a Class of Abstract Semilinear Functional Differential Equations with a Non-Dense Domain

In this work, we are concerned with a general class of abstract semilinear autonomous functional differential equations with a non-dense domain on a Banach space. Our objective is to study, using the Crandall-Liggett approach, the solutions as a semigroup of non-linear operators.     

Weak Uniform Normal Structure and Fixed Points of Asymptotically Regular Semigroups

Let X be a Banach space with a weak uniform normal structure and C a non–empty convexweakly compact subset of X. Under some suitable restriction, we prove that every asymptoticallyregular semigroup T = {T(t) : t ∈¸ S} of selfmappings on C satisfying

${\mathop {\lim \inf }\limits_{S \mathrel\backepsilon t \to \infty } }{\left| {{\left\| {T(t)} \right\|}} \right|} < {\text{WCS}}(X)$

has a common fixed point, where WCS(X) is the weakly convergent sequence coefficient of X, and\({\left| {{\left\| {T(t)} \right\|}} \right|}\) is the exact Lipschitz constant of T(t).     

Iterative Algebras without Projections

We deal with iterative algebras of functions of -valued logic lacking projections, which we call algebras without projections. It is shown that a partially ordered set of algebras of functions of -valued logic, for , without projections contains an interval isomorphic to the lattice of all iterative algebras of functions of -valued logic. It is found out that every algebra without projections is contained in some maximal algebra without projections, which is the stabilizer of a semigroup of non-surjective transformations of the basic set. It is proved that the stabilizer of a semigroup of all monotone non-surjective transformations of a linearly ordered 3-element set is not a maximal algebra without projections, but the stabilizer of a semigroup of all transformations preserving an arbitrary non one-element subset of the basic set is.     

Stabilizability in Asymptotically Finite-Dimensional Semigroups

We study a semigroup of linear operators on a Banach space X which satisfies the condition codim X ₀<, where We show that X ₀ is closed and establish some properties of the asymptotic behavior of the subspaces complementing X ₀ to X.
